REDING
When Valérian Reding visited our studio, we discovered a talented artist and the captivating art of "doodling." Inspired by African art and Keith Haring, doodling is a drawing technique that gained recognition in the 1920s thanks to the Surrealist movement. It involves the repetition of patterns, often created with markers on various surfaces, in a "quasi non-directive" manner, influenced by different contexts while allowing the mind to wander. You can explore Valérian Reding's work at Skol in Strassen, Luxembourg, until June 15th. The exhibition, open on weekdays, showcases his pieces framed in aluminum and black wood, with anti-reflective glass enhancing their beauty.
